Begin your day with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the victims of the 1994 genocide Against the Tutsi. Then, immerse yourself in Rwanda’s burgeoning art scene with a visit to the Inema Arts Centre, where you will encounter vibrant works by local artists. In the afternoon, venture into the vibrant Nyamirambo neighborhood to visit the Nyamirambo Women’s Centre, where you’ll learn about the empowerment initiatives empowering women through crafts and culinary skills before starting a 3.5hrs journey to Kibuye. As the sun sets, transition into an exciting 2 hours Night Fishing expedition, where you can experience the thrill of catching fish under the starlit sky. After your early breakfast, you will transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Begin with a guided 6 km hike along the picturesque Kamiranzovu Trail, leading to the breathtaking Kamiranzovu Waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery and diverse wildlife. In the afternoon, you will visit a nearby tea plantation to experience the entire tea production process, from farm to cup. After a filling breakfast, you will check out and proceed with the canopy walk adventure for a thrilling experience of a suspended bridge covering 160 m through the lush montane rainforest and 70 m high from the forest floor. This one extraordinary activity offers a spectacular view of the ancient forest. Thereafter, you will transfer back to Kigali with a stopover at Nyanza King’s Palace Museum on the way for a cultural experience. Then, you will proceed with your drive to Kigali. You will be dropped off at your hotel/ residence in Kigali or airport depending on your flight details.
